Galiz Cycling Team Ready for a 7 stage International Race:

Galiz Cycling Team is all set to take part in a 7-stage international race to be held in Colombia starting on Sept 15th to the 21st. This year will be the 19th edition of the Tour de Colombia Senior Masters 2013.

The team has been training hard and will be arriving 3 days prior to the start of the race to acclimate to riding at high elevation. The Team will be concentrating at a private country side Ranch in the small town of Cumaral (Meta).

Team General Manager said “acclimating to train at high altitude is important and a good preparation for the Senior Masters. We will see how the riders adapt and hopefully we will have good results at every stage. He also commented that the Team’s past performance have been nice, but improvement and development are the ultimate goal in this year’s team”.

Looking at the roster of Galiz Cycling Team for this year’s race, the team has a diverse group both nationality and age. The current roster boosts riders from 5 different nations (Colombia, USA, Netherlands, Cuba & Jamaica). The current roster has twenty-four riders.

Mixed cultures, nationalities and age difference are the best combination and the key of Team Galiz to be one of the best cycling teams and club in the cycling arena.
